How Can I Really Increase My Income With An Affiliate Income?

You can make a lot of money with an affiliate income, but it is something that you have to work at and it doesn't happen overnight. First you have to check out the many different types of affiliate programs available and choose the one that pays the most money. You don't necessarily need to have an intimate knowledge of the program, product or service when you start, but you do need to do your research.

Basically an affiliate income comes from a program that you can join for free. There are many companies with websites selling products or services and will pay you a percentage when you refer a customer that makes a purchase. This is a percentage of the amount of money that the customer spends. Some affiliate programs have a set amount for each purchase. The company gets free advertising from you and this is the way they pay for it.

To get started in affiliate marketing you have to set up a website related to the product that the company sells. You need to have well-written articles about the product that will lead customers to click on the words or phrase that will lead them to the site where they can find out more information and hopefully buy. Once you have the website set up, then you can apply to the affiliate program and give the address of your site. In most cases, you will be accepted without questions, but there are some programs that have strict rules about what the referring sites should be like.

Do a search for the most common phrases that people search for when they want information about this product. Overture is one of these programs that will tell you how many people searched for a specific phrase in the previous month. The higher the number, the more likelihood there is that when you write an article based on this phrase, visitors will come to your site.

An affiliate income is something that builds over time. You have to keep adding to the site and keep enticing customers to buy. In this case it is the words rather than the graphics that do the selling for you. You will not receive a check from the marketer until your account reaches $100. This is to save money by sending out small checks each month. Depending on the affiliate marketing program and the product, you could be well on your way to having a good second income and you may even be able to quit your regular job.

How Can I Promote My Affiliate Programs?

The thought of being able to make money online with affiliate programs may have sounded like a great business opportunity to you. The thought of being able to work at home in your own internet business, without having to worry about the things that have traditionally come along with running a business, such as inventory, storage, packing, shipping, complaints, returns, phone calls, emails, checks and credit cards,  just to name a few, must have seemed like the greatest business idea you had ever come across!

Now that you are all set up with your affiliate programs however, you may be wondering, what can I do to generate traffic to my affiliate links?  Lets explore some of the ways we can accomplish this.

The first thing you will want to do is to have a webpage with brief descriptions of all of your affiliate programs along with your affiliate links accompanying it. The reason for this is, for the most part, you will want to promote your own website as opposed to your individual affiliate links. Your webpage dose does not have to be fancy. Once you have accomplished this you will have a huge advantage over simply attempting to generate traffic to your individual affiliate links.

Start a business Blog. A Blog, short for, Web Log, is a great way to promote yourself as a knowledgeable person. People will begin to believe in you and will eventually trust you. Just make sure to post a new article every day so that people will keep coming back to read your latest article. That will breed familiarity. People will buy much more readily from people who they know and trust. Another reason to post every day is that, although it won’t be long before the search engines find your Blog, you can ping the search engines every time your Blog is updated and search engines L-O-V-E new content! Make sure to have a bio along with a link back to your website. Your bio should contain a brief description about you such as, [ John Doe is the owner of yoursite.com. John specializes in helping people to work at home in their own home based business. To learn about the different business opportunities John has to offer you visit his website at www.yoursite.com].

Write and publish your own business articles. This is the greatest form of free advertising available. By writing and submitting articles, along with your bio at the bottom of each of your articles, you will not only have more and more non-reciprocal links pointing back to your website but most importantly the search engines will begin to spider your articles(read them word for word.)  When people type into a search engine, keywords or phrases, that match what is in your articles, they will show up on the search results along with a link back to your website! Make sure to insert keywords into your articles that are relevant to your website such as business opportunities, affiliate programs, work at home, home based business, etc. The more relevant links there are pointing back to your website the higher your page rank will be. A higher page rank means your website will show up higher on the search engines results page, so keep writing those articles!

Ezines are email newsletters that people subscribe to on every topic imaginable. Find Ezines that are relevant to the business you are promoting such as business opportunities, affiliate programs, work at home, home based business, etc.  Most Ezines will accept advertisements. This is not spam because the subscribers have agreed to accept offers from time to time as part of their subscription and can unsubscribe at any time. With Ezines it is better to advertise your individual affiliate programs along with your affiliate link as opposed to your website with a link back to it.

Email lists are another great way to advertise your individual affiliate programs. These are people who for whatever reason have agreed to receive certain offers. Find lists that are relevant to what you are promoting such as business opportunities, affiliate programs, work at home, home based business etc.

Pay-Per-Click(PPC) advertising such as Google AdWords is a form of advertising for the first time in history were you only pay for advertising if people are actually interested in your ad, since you only pay if someone is interested enough to click on it! These are ads that show up along with the regular search engine results. In the case of Google AdWords for instance the ads appear overhead and also on the right side. This form of advertising however requires a deep technical understanding to make it cost effective, otherwise, it will suck up your advertising dollars in no time!

Promoting your affiliate links dose not have to be expensive. It all depends on wether you would prefer to spend time, money or some sort of compromise between the two. You have various options available to you and what path you decide to take is entirely up to you.

If You're Doing Any Kind of Affiliate Marketing: Camtasia Should be Included in Your Arsenal

Since there are already lots of people getting into affiliate marketing, it is no wonder that the competition is getting stiff. The challenge is to try and outdo other affiliates and think of ways to be able to attain this.

There are also many tips and techniques being taught to these affiliate in order to best plan their strategy for their program to work effectively so that more earnings will be achieved.

What better way to wow your prospects and customers than to record and publish top notch, full motion and streaming screen-captured videos. Nothing like feeling your hard work getting paid by having your customers jumping up excitedly in great anticipation to buy your product right there and then.

This is Camtasia in action. It is a proven fact; giving your customers something they can actually see can explode your online sales instantly.

You do not need to have trainings and education to be able to know how this system can work for your affiliate program. Anyone can create stunning videos, from multimedia tutorials and step-by-step presentations available online. The process is like having your customers seated next to you and looking at your desktop, as you show them the things they need to see and hear. All this done step by step.

For those who does not know it yet, how does Camtasia works?

1. It can record your desktop activity in a single click. No need to have to save and compile all your files because it is recorded right there and then.

2. Can easily convert your videos into web pages. Once converted you can have your customers visiting that certain page. Videos are easier to understand and take in unlike reading texts which oftentimes is a trying thing to do.

3. Upload your pages. Publish them through blogs, RSS feed and podcasts. You may want your Camtasis videos to get around and reach out to other people that may be potential customers in the future. Nothing like being visible in many sites and pages to advertise yourself and get your message through.

There are other things you can do with your affiliate program using Camtasia. You can…

Create stunning multimedia presentations that are proven to increase sales because all the senses are engaged. This also has the tendency to reduce skepticism among hard-to-please customers.

Reduce refunds and other customer issues by demonstrating visually how to use your product and how to do it properly. Complaints will also be minimized because all the facts and the presentation are there for the customers to just see and hear about.

Promote affiliate products and services using visual presentations. This is an effective way of redirecting your viewers straight to your affiliate website after they are finished with the video. Make the most of the presentation by putting your site location in the end and make them go there directly if they want more information.

Multiple your online auction bids exponentially when you give your readers a feel of what you have to offer. Based from reports, auctions that includes pictures increases bidding percentage by 400%.  Imagine how much higher it will be if it were videos.

Publish valuable infoproducts that you can sell for a much higher price. It will be all worth the price because of the full colored graphics menu and templates that you will be using.

Minimize miscommunication with your customers. Instantly showing them what you want they wanted in the first place is making them understand clearly the essence of your affiliate program. The good thing about multimedia is, nothing much can go wrong. It is there already.

These are just some of the things you can do with Camtasia that can be very helpful in your chosen affiliate program.

Note that the main purpose of using Camtasia is to boost the income that is generated from your affiliate program. Although it can be used for entertainment and enjoyment purposes, which is not really a valid reason why you choose to get all through that trouble.

Try to focus on the goal that you have set upon yourself to and achieve that with the use of the things that may be quite a lot of help in increasing your earnings.

Great Web Content – Higher Search Engine Rank

Here’s a scenario you don’t want to happen:

You’ve spent hours and hours researching the best most profitable keywords for your particular affiliate web page. You chose these keywords because they have good demand, people are searching these terms yet they are not so competitive that they are impossible to rank well for within the top 2 pages of Google MSN or Yahoo.

You’ve also gained a few quality inbound links via reciprocal link partners and writing a few relevant articles that have inbound links pointing at your target page.

The search engines have rewarded your efforts by giving you a top 20 listing this popular search term.

You notice an increase in traffic to this page. No doubt due to the exposure in the SE’s.

After a few days you notice your page is dropped like a hot potato and your top 20 ranking is gone you’re now on page 11 buried... never to be found!

Lets back track to see what might have happened.

1. Web surfer types in your popular term into the SE (MSN, Google…) (great!)
2. Your listing displays in the first two pages of search results (great!)
3. Visitor reads your description which seems relevant and decides to click and visit your page (great!)
4. Visitor enters your page and quickly leaves…(Not great!)

What happened?

You did everything correctly in leading the visitor to your page with good keywords and offpage optimization, but they left because your web content was not compelling, relevant or interesting enough to grab and keep their attention.

You will eventually lose SE rankings if the major SE’s detect this pattern of visitor behavior, that is, where the visitor finds your site through legitimate keyword search yet quickly clicks back to the search results page and continues looking.

Why?

Because the SE’s will deem your pages not relevant for that particular search term.
Remember, there is a correlation between web content - higher search engine rank and increased online traffic.

It is therefore critical to write compelling, interesting relevant content especially for affiliate type websites. Do not try to hard sell the affiliate products you are trying to get visitors to click on (your merchant site). Instead, pre-sell them with the best information stressing in real terms what the benefits are to the visitor. You want them to willingly click on the merchant link with an “ open to buy “ mentality.

There is an art to writing content to pre-sell your visitors…

Here are a few tips:

Stress the Benefits Early

What you say will greatly effect if the person stays or leaves your web page. This seems like the most obvious thing yet so many web sites get it wrong. You must quickly within the first few seconds (remember this is internet time) establish the benefit of whatever your page is promoting…and how it is useful to the visitor.
Leave the "I " and "About Us" pages out of site until the visitor has gained trust looking for what they want whether you're providing information or actual products.

Read Your Page From the Visitors Perspective

Sure you understand what you are saying, you wrote it! But is it really clear to a first time visitor? Strive to make the complex sound simple…that's what communicating is really about. Hopefully your website topic or theme isn't about something inherently complex however you still need to stand back and reread it.

Don't assume the visitor has great knowledge about what you are writing about so don't leave things out that you think are unimportant. Make sure you define any jargon or industry related terms that may confuse the visitor.

Make sure your content flows logically. Avoid the scattered thought syndrome where ideas are all over the page. Reread.

Make sure your page navigation is consistent from page to page. If the visitor gets lost a good site map can solve this problem; make sure this link is included with your main navigation.

These are just 2 important and effective methods of creating better content.

Free Affiliate Programs - How Students or Anyone Can Work Part-time at Home

Are you a college or high school student who only has time for a part-time job but can't find one that pays enough? Hate your boss and/or can't stand your co-workers? Have you been searching long and hard for a route to financial freedom that doesn't involve any bosses except for yourself? Do you have a web site? If you have a web site with some traffic (or even if you don't, on my blog you can learn how to make an online living without one), you can make money by having links to online merchant shops appear on your web site. When a visitor to your site clicks on the link pointing to the web site of the merchant you are affiliated with, and then proceeds to buy something, you get a commission of that sale. Depending on the merchant, this can range anywhere from 5% - 75% of the sale. There are also some merchants who will pay for each click or each lead generated from your site. A lead is a new visitor to the site or shop that inquires about information, prices, or prize/coupon offers.

By having these links on your web site, you are called an affiliate, and the links are called affiliate links. An affiliate program isn't literally a program it's a business arrangement or agreement. Affiliate programs are also commonly known as associate programs, associates programs, partner programs, referral programs and sometimes bounty programs.

For anyone new to Internet marketing and work at home businesses they provide an excellent, high value opportunity in that it's a way to earn money without producing your own product!

To register into an affiliate program is almost always free, and through the affiliate program merchants control panel all you need to start making an income is the linking code, a way to monitor the traffic through your links, and to see what commission you have earned. Visitors who click your link to the merchants' site are called "click-throughs" and the percent of click-through visitors that purchase something on the affiliate merchants' site are called your CR, your Conversion Rate. Likewise, your CTR, or Click-Through Rate, is the percent of visitors to your site that end-up clicking on an affiliate link.

An affiliate program is not a MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) program, since the affiliates only earn from sales, leads or clicks. Some affiliate programs offer what is called a "Two-Tier" program and this is in most cases not considered a MLM program. MLM programs are sometimes called a "Matrix" or "Downline" program and often have an unlimited number of sub-affiliates you can sign up under you. Your downline is everyone who has signed up under you and likewise your "upline" is everyone who signed up above you.

There is also networks operated by third-party companies and individuals where multiple merchants and affiliates use a common software and administrative infrastructure (usually just a simple admin section of a web site) to recruit affiliates and monitor the traffic from their sites. These types of networks are often called affiliate networks. Both the merchants and the potential affiliates need to register with the network. Usually most affiliate networks are free to join because they get a part of the commission but some do charge a fee. Affiliates can find links to the online shops of hundreds of merchants to use on their affiliate driven web sites. Examples of affiliate networks are Commission Junction and ClickBank. You can find links to affiliate networks on my blog (link at end of article).

I am of the opinion that the best affiliate web sites are the ones made from a high demand, low supply niche dedicated to one of your hobbies or interests and something you know a lot about and can provide good value to your visitors. However, if you are not great at writing articles you can find article directories and content sites; Like, ezinearticles.com for ideas

What will work best for you wont necessarily be the same thing that works for others, you have to experiment and diversify your methods. The most important factor will however depend upon the kind of traffic you have and can generate and the interests of the individuals visiting your site.

Driving Traffic Using Google Adwords Proceed with Caution

Extremely directed traffic is among the most crucial entities in the internet world. Any website proprietor or administrator realizes the importance of driving traffic to a website. The success from any website doesn't trust entirely on the site itself. You might have a fantastic idea for a website, offer an first-class merchandise or service, or have an exceptionally planned site with superior content, simply if you don't apply the proper strategies to advertise, your site would not draw the high traffic you require. Appealing targeted traffic is a job that had better be taken severely for any site to succeed or have a income. Fortunately, there is internet-marketing tools that assist the website marketer to drive traffic to his website. Among the most important, and effective, of these tools is Google's Adwords. Adwords is one of Google's advertising services.

How does Google Adwords work? Google comprises the biggest search engine on the web getting over 200 million queries every day through its several services. Since Google is the most favourite search engine today, webmasters are sharp on having their websites reach a higher ranking in the search engine leads it provides. A high ranking could mean high traffic for that website. The search engine results page is as well a extraordinary venue for advertisers to promote a product or service through ads and links. Consequently, Google established its Adwords service, as a way for businesses to advertise products and services to a targeted audience. Google Adwords can assure instant traffic. In this service, Google shows relevant text based ads inside its search engine results page termed as "Sponsored Links". Whenever a specific keyword is searched on, these relevant links come out in a separate section giving excellent exposure to the sites listed.

How do you use Google Adwords? First of all, you have to open an account with the Google Adwords Service. Then, you should suggest your object language and country. This is all-important for you would not need your products advertised in countries where your merchandise or service can't be sold. Afterwards, you should instantly create an ad group. This calls for designing the ad, choosing keywords and determining highest cost per click that you are willing to spend and defining bid amounts. The most important step in producing a successful Adwords campaign is choosing an effective title tag that will catch the attention of your objective audience. The title tag, generally a short phrase, is the most important part of your Adwords campaign so make sure that it is attractive and catchy. You should describe the website clearly and precisely. The most effective advertising brings a clear message to the target audience. With a clear message, you will be attracting qualified leads, which can eventually become a sale. Therefore, the importance by choosing the right keywords can't be overstressed.

There are keyword variations you'll be able to adapt to reach more prospects. Applying these varieties, misspellings and derivatives can help gain the chance of your ads being served. Broad match is targeting keywords in a loosely defined manner. Here, the ads appear based on the keywords that have been queried by other users as opposed to exact match, which calls for the keyword to match the query exactly. Meanwhile, a keyword phrase set to phrase match will only appear when the exact phrase is searched on. A negative keyword is helpful in filtering unrelated pages.

After you have chose on what title tag to use in your ad, you must now define a budget in order to maximize exposure. Google Adwords recommend a daily budget for each campaign. However, you should determine a budget that is suitable and affordable. You should as well decide the maximum CPC. Google will propose a recommended cost per click, but you do not have to stick with this. Usually, a number one position is not ideal as it can also attract unwanted traffic and useless clicks. A number two position is more preferred as it can filter useless clicks and provide traffic with a higher conversion rate.

To close, Google Adwords is an excellent strategy and tool in establishing your site maximum exposure. However, Google Adwords shouldn't be your sole advertising campaign. It will definitely help you find the essential, highly targeted traffic you need.

Double Your Dish Network Affiliate Check

Most Dish Network affiliates are content to earn several hundred dollars a month. But by applying these three simple ideas, you can potentially turn $300 into $3000 overnight.

1. Promote the Best Dish Network Affiliate Program

The largest Dish Network affiliate program claims to have recruited over 250,000 affiliates. Ironically, this same satellite affiliate program offers one of the *lowest* payouts in the industry - a measly $50 per sale.
You could instantly double or even triple your earnings by switching to higher paying programs.

2. Collect Email Addresses

It is a well-known fact that most people do not make a purchase on the first contact. You may need to send out your message more than 5 times to make the sale. So, collect the contact information of your visitors before sending them to the Dish Network retailer's website.

You can encourage visitors to give you their email address by offering free reports or ebooks. You can then follow-up with these contacts to remind them to order satellite TV.

Plus, with a list of names and email addresses, you can send other marketing messages to your subscribers and earn ongoing commissions instead of a one-time sale only. Develop a relationship with your subscribers by providing not just sales pitches but also useful information on a regular basis. The trust you build will pay dividends when you send your marketing messages.

3. Ask for a Raise

If you are already a successful satellite affiliate who can generate a substantial number of sales, approach the retailer to negotiate a higher commission for your sales.

Dish Network dealers understand the tremendous value of power satellite affiliates. They know that a successful affiliate can drive hundreds of sales. And because Dish Network pays retailers a small residual commission for each customer, retailers may even be willing to pay a stong affiliate at an initial loss in order to gain a substantial number of new customers.

Remember, too, that you are a zero-risk investment to your Dish Network retailer. So, don't be shy about requesting an increase in your commissions. Just try to be reasonable about it.

These three strategies can increase your earnings significantly in a very short period of time. You can instantly double or even triple your earnings by switching to a higher paying Dish Network affiliate program. But don't stop there. If you are already a power satellite affiliate, be sure to approach retailers to negotiate an even higher commission. And finally, by collecting the email addresses of your visitors, not only will you make more satellite sales but you'll also gain a subscriber that can provide you with a lifetime of income.

Computer Work At Home For Moms

Stay at home moms are turning to the Internet in masses looking to contribute to the family income or replace their day job so they can stay at home. Many single moms especially are looking to stay at home so they can take care of their family.

I have been blessed with five children and I could not even imagine having to do it on my own and work a day job. In fact I'm not sure I could handle it on my own with one child, but when placed in that unfortunate situation you have to do whatever it takes and I commend those who do it on a daily basis. It pains me to think about the stresses of taking care of children, house hold needs, working a job and in many cases bringing in just enough money to pay the bills. Sometimes not even bringing in enough money. Wow!

The Internet is the perfect fit, because once successful you can replace your day job, increase time with your family and have more free time to do as you wish. It has allowed many to have a chance at the American Dream.

You can see the desire for stay at home moms by looking at the search engine keywords that searched for on a daily basis. They are phrases such as best jobs for stay at home moms, online jobs for stay at home moms, work at home jobs and home businesses.

As a work at home web site owner, I like many others, have a specific page highlighting Moms Jobs. I realized awhile back that it is a market place that is very much in demand, therefore I decided to allocate the time and effort to find the best Moms Jobs available on the Internet.

I found that there were many opportunities like owning your own Jewelry Store, Online Dollar Store or many of the other work at home businesses. In addition if you are looking to create income, but not own an online business I found programs in areas like Data Entry, Paid Surveys, Telephone Answering Jobs, Medical Transcription and Type at Home.

You can see the choices are abundant. Many will choose a couple of good programs so they have multiple income streams. Obviously, an online business may take more time to create additional income than simply working at home. Please ensure that you do your research by either using a website like mine or do the research yourself. It is imperative that you do this part so that you have the best chance of success.

I always recommend having a separate email address for you online work at home activities. You will need a computer, access to the Internet and some free time. Once you have selected a program you simply need to join and get start creating income. The cost for these online programs is minimal. I was very surprised at how inexpensive it is to start working at home.

Commission Junction Affiliate Company Maybe Not What You Thought? TOO Many Complaints

Company Overview:

Is the Internet a good venue for getting online leads and sales? Oftentimes, online merchants are disappointed or disheartened and end up reverting to traditional media for their advertising needs. Creating a website is not enough. Submitting the URL (with appropriate Meta tags and keywords to make the site searchable) is not enough. Having a merchant account on your site is not enough. The best way to get the most traffic to go to your site is through the forging of relationships with other companies. Short of pounding the pavement or writing emails to anonymous companies who may not give you the time of day, the best solution offered by the internet today are — affiliate programs.

Commission Junction is a one of three ValueClick companies. Together they provide complete Internet marketing solutions to its clients and partners. Commission Junction’s expertise lies in forging strategic relationships between publishers and advertisers; thereby creating an open marketplace low risk and high reward for its clients.

Commission Junction is one of the largest affiliate programs on the Internet today with over three hundred advertisers in the UK, France, and Germany alone and over 1,700 merchants and growing daily. Their partners and clients include leading big name Internet and traditional companies such as Air France, Ebay, Microsoft, Palm, Razorfish, Thomas Cook, and Yahoo. Commission Junction ranks as one of the largest ad networks in the world.

Program Details and Benefits:

How does it work? Once upon a time we had a simple term for it. We called it “banner swap”. Another was direct ad placement. Publishers would include ads or links to advertisers in the content of their website (oftentimes in the form of banners). This helps advertisers in building their brand, drive up their sales, and decrease the acquisition cost of customers.

Income and commissions are generated by what we call “click through”s. This means that the publisher makes money every time the ad is seen or clicked by a person. The commission rate is often set in batches, for example, every 1,000 clicks, etc.

There are several reasons why Commission Junction is considered one of the best affiliate programs on the Internet today.

1) Commission Junction has a very competitive pricing scheme for their merchants

2) They pay out commissions to their members quickly and on time

3) They constantly look for ways to improve their services by increasing the benefits of their clients (or affiliates) and encourage them to help in expanding the Commission Junction network.

Commission Junction employs traditional affiliate commission models such as “pay per click”, “pay per lead” and “pay per sale”.

Commission Junction’s affiliate program offers a variety of benefits to its affiliates. The first is the two tier commission plan.

1) An affiliate can earn a referral commission ($2 up-front) by encouraging other webmasters or companies into joining the Commission Junction network (assuming they are not yet members of the Commission Junction network) once they sign up. For example, if ten (10) people click through from your site and all of them sign up. That means that the affiliate automatically earns twenty dollars ($20) in referrals.

2) An affiliate can earn a five percent (5%) commission on all commissions generated by their referrals. This only applies to new accounts, and not existing members of Commission Junction. For example, if all ten become active members and each one generates twenty dollars ($20) in commissions each month, then the first tier affiliate will earn an additional ten dollars ($10) monthly income. This translates into an annual income of around one hundred twenty dollars ($120) — all from referrals!

Second, commissions are pooled together in one check paid directly by Commission Junction, on a monthly basis, not by the merchants. There is no set minimum commission per merchant. This means that if you earn five dollars ($5) each from ten merchants in a single month, Commission Junction will remit fifty dollars ($50) to you immediately. Also, Commission Junction offers a centralized online commission report for all its merchant programs.

Another benefit that makes Commission Junction so attractive to merchants and publishers is that they also offer their merchants the same two tiered program they offer their affiliates. This means that all merchants are also entitled to the five percent (5%) second tier commissions.

Commission Junction also offers a variety of affiliate programs that you can promote on your site. Aside from the big name companies, Commission Junction has attracted the attention of many smaller merchants that are highly targeted and are focused on a particular niche. This helps in targeting your site as well and will increase the opportunities of finding a merchant appropriate for your target audience.

Visitor Feedback (Past & Present):

I’ve read many comments about Commission Junction on the Internet from forums and review sites and there seems to be mixed feedback, depending on whether you are a merchant or an affiliate.

Merchants have given glowing reports all around. According to the merchants, Commission Junction offers them a well-designed and well-implemented solution at a reasonable price. From the affiliates, though, there have been a few glowing reports and quite a few not so desirable ones. Here are some comments posted:

· (August 23, 2001) I could spend all day on their site trying to figure out which programs to choose from the thousands on offer. Don’t make much money from them despite the programs looking good.

· (February 25, 2003) Hardly makes you any money even if you try hard. They used to be a good and reliable bunch, but since they’ve left the pay per click system, they’ve gone downhill in many respects. When I requested payment, next thing I knew was that they terminated my account, accusing me of cheating! This was supposedly detected by their infallible anti-cheating software… I subsequently emailed them several time asking for an explanation, and they never replied once! What can you do! I’d say skip them if you’re looking for a company with integrity. There are many around, like Tradedoubler, Fastclick and Focusin.

· (February 4, 2004) – from a 2-year Commission Junction member) Commission Junction offer a fantastic business opportunity from people working from home (who have a website) wanting to earn an extra income brilliant companies on offer easy to join and add links to - Their payment structure is second to none - I now receive a guaranteed monthly check which is always more every month!

· (April 16, 2004) Commission Junction seemed to be good, but I have just recently requested payment and found my account has been put on payment review for 30 days and then if they think I have increased clicks they will terminate my account. This is very annoying and I don’t think I’m the only one who has had this problem. My advice would be to look elsewhere or deal directly with the companies of which you want to become an affiliate.

· (October 18, 2005) Commission Junction interface is hard to navigate, keeps crashing. Stay well clear.

- (November 16, 2018) I was a Cj.com member. At some point I received money from cj.com nevertheless, I noticed the website was very slow. One day, my affiliate program has been stopped for no reasons. However, my affiliate links were still in place on my website and there were always functioning. In other words, I was still sending customers to their website but I didn't receive money for it. Other times, I have subscribed to affiliate programs. Since I didn't make enough money cj.com closed my account several times. However, from a marketing point of view, visitors of my website still clicked on the affiliate links and visited the target website. I subscribed to other affiliate programs and had no problems at all. Cj.com is special. This is i think one of the only website with which I had problem. Furthermore after closing my account, they sent me spam.

Cj.com looks appealing to webmasters and merchant but in fact, many affiliate programs are from websites that look like scams and aren't serious. A website owner can suffer from the bad reputation of those affiliate programs. Website owners waste their time with affiliate programs that aren't serious at all.
Furthermore, the website itself cj.com wasn't available or very slow several times.

- (November 26, 2018) I believe this is a scam and would advise avoiding. For the past few months I have been registering all my name cheap domain names through my own affiliate link on my website and not ONE of them has gone through as commission which pretty much reflects that Commission Junction is either a scam or the coding is no good. I will as a result not be using CJ.com an more. Sincerely Affiliate 5149508

- (September 05, 2018)  We are a brand new to affiliate marketing thought it would be great to build traffic and gain access to good publishers for content - only after we were on boarded did we get the bait and switch ..."oh if you want that kind if support you must pay us 20K a month to mange your account" as a start up we cannot afford this hefty additional fee. In the meantime, we have managed on our own - but the caliber of sites is horrific we search high and low and the number of new publishers wanting to work with us is meager and the type of sites are real trash...mostly foreign accounts with web pages that look like the worst websites you have ever seen...quantity not quality... most of the publishers here are clearly not vetted by them - this place is the swamp of advertising vehicles DO NOT get locked into a long contract run - do not sign up. spoke toanother company and hearing that this one "is going under" in the time we have been working with them their employees are leaving in droves..forget getting anyone on the phone after you are up and running. This is a PONZI SCHEME

As you can see the comments are mixed. In the early stages of Commission Junction’s history there were reports of undelivered commissions and inaccurate tracking. It's seems as though nothing has changed much since than! The last negative comment I discovered on the internet listed above (July 31, 2018) -- which there is a lot of complaints all over the internet. I assume this means that Commission Junction has not listened to it's customer's complaints since 2001. This concerns me and should concern you too. You have the right to make your own decisions... but beware!

Choosing an Affiliate Program

What should you consider when choosing an affiliate program? You need to think about two key things: what business are you in and what can the affiliate program provide to your customers.

No matter what business you are in, the largest investment you make will be customer acquisition. If you have your own product, and have acquired a base of satisfied customers, then single product affiliate programs could work very well for you.

However, if your business is acquiring customers for other businesses, that is, purely affiliate programs, then a better choice for you could be affiliate programs with multiple products or services. This will help you to capitalise on your investment in customer acquisition.

The key to choosing successfully is to ensure that the affiliate program offers products that meet the needs of your potential customers. Coupled with this is the need for the products to be high quality and for the supplier to provide excellent customer service. Remember, your credibility is on the line every time you refer someone to buy through your affiliate relationship.

Some of the other factors I consider when evaluating affiliate programs include:

+ Is the affiliate program a reputable business? You can check out a business you are considering a relationship with in variety of ways. Talk to the Better Business Bureau in your local area or a similar body. In addition, I find web sites that monitor affiliate programs to be worth looking at. The best I have found is Associate Programs http://www.AssociatePrograms.com. Allan Gardyne pulls no punches and tells it as it is.

+ Does the program enable you to share in the lifetime value of the customer? Great programs will give you commissions on all future purchases of the customers you introduce. This is where the real profits are. These types of programs, in effect, allow you to partner with the supplier.

+ Does the program reward you for introducing other affiliates? This type of program is commonly referred to as a two-tier program. Often your customer may become an affiliate also and you will be rewarded for this.

+ Is the supplier interested in your success as an affiliate? The top affiliate programs engage in a process of coaching or information sharing to help you succeed. Affiliates are provided with regular newsletters outlining what is working for successful affiliates and providing updates and details on new products.

+ Is the commission reasonable? Commission rates on commodity products such as books and CDs are low. This is because there is very little margin in the products due to competition. Look for products that have a commission rate of 15% or more that are not commodities - that way you will be better able to recoup your customer acquisition investment.

+ Are statistics provided? The higher the level of statistics provided, the better off you are. This will enable you to measure the success of your marketing efforts and to determine the best places to invest your marketing dollars. Insufficient statistics is a sign that the affiliate program is not sufficiently interested in your success.

+ Are new products being developed regularly? To get the full value from lifetime commissions, new products need to be introduced on a regular basis. Without this, lifetime commissions can be worthless. Also, look for consistent high quality in new products introduced.

+ How frequently are commissions paid? The more frequently commissions are paid, the better off you are. Good quality affiliate programs will pay you monthly. In some situations, commissions are not paid until a certain level is reached. If the program you are considering has this requirement, check how many sales need to be made before the level is reached.

+ Have you read the affiliate agreement? This is a key area that you should look at. Some affiliate agreements are totally in favour of the supplier. Others are more balanced. Some agreements restrict your ability to promote similar products from other suppliers. Most agreements have anti-spam provisions. Look for agreements that are fair and that do not stack everything against you as the affiliate.

While there are other factors that can be considered when choosing an affiliate program, following the suggestions above will help you to make superior business choices that will lead to long-term success.

Can You Really Make Money Online?

There are many people from all walks of life searching for ways to make more money, and the internet seems to be full of opportunities. Usually when you start searching for jobs or work at home possibilities, you get bombarded with a lot of hype! You know the old saying, "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!" Remember that when you start looking for opportunities to help you make money online! If everything were as easy as it seems to be, then we could all quit our full time day jobs and just work online from the comfort of our home! Okay-maybe not, but I have been doing this online working thing for awhile now, and I want to share with you some advice about how to do it the right way!

1. Start Slow! When you first start out trying to make money online, the internet is going to seem like a huge place with tons of information everywhere. You'll probably feel overwhelmed with an information overload! Don't let that happen. You need to take it a little bit everyday and learn as much as you can bit by bit. One of the best ways to do this is to keep paper by your computer and take notes. Write down any good websites you find that you may want to refer back to. Print out information that you will need in the future. Read as much as you can and go back and read it again. You need to really let it soak in, and you need to absorb as much as possible. Generally, if you allow yourself enough time to do some research before you try to get started, you will arm yourself with a lot of important necessary knowledge. Of course, most of you will still be working your day job, so maybe try to allow some time in the evenings or on the weekends to do your research. Also, stay organized! Nothing is worse than sifting through a huge pile of papers looking for a specific site or web address. If you can go into this venture from a learning perspective, it will make everything easier down the road. Whenever you are working to make money online, research, learning, studying, and keeping up-to-date are going to be some of the most important things you can do. Remember that a lot of your competition will probably try to go in blindly, so then you'll be one step ahead.

2. Find Good Products and Test Them. When you are ready to take the step into making money online, affiliate marketing is one of the simplest ways beginners can make money. Not only can you have the potential to start generating sales, but you will get exposed to a lot of people who know what they are doing, who have already had success, and who are actually willing to help you. Once you find a good product that you want to try to sell, test the waters. Place some ads in various areas and keep track of whether or not you're making any sales. When first starting out, only promote one or two products at a time! It seems like you will do better if you start promoting 100 things at once, but when you have so many campaigns going at the same time, it's easy to lose focus and concentration. You want to be able to put forth your full effort and really see whether or not this product is going to pay off for you. Keep in mind that a lot of products end up not being successful money makers, so if you find that is the case, go back to the drawing board and pick something else. Don't spend a lot of money until you find a profitable product! Most of us just starting out don't have much extra money to spend on advertising anyway, but keeping costs down is important. Your ultimate goal is making a profit, right?

3.Get Excited and Don't Give Up! Start promoting yourself and your products as much as you can. Many well established and successful sites have opt-in email lists where you can sign up to get their daily or weekly newsletters. Get your email address on all of the ones that look helpful to you or your product. Many times, these emails are full of valuable information, and you're getting it for free! These companies are reputable and are not going to sell or give away your email address, so it's completely safe to go ahead and sign up! This is a continuation of your learning process, as well, because they will send you up to the minute information, and may even introduce you to new products! The more you can learn, the better! Speaking of email, send out some emails to family members and close friends and let them know about your new online adventure! No, you don't have to try to sell them anything, but this is an easy way to start getting yourself out there. Please don't spam anyone, though. Just send it out to those people who you know will be accepting of your emails. Also, when you send them out, ask your friends and family to let you know their personal opinions about your products, website, or any other feedback they can give. If you can get some open and honest feedback from those you trust, you can begin to get an idea of how you will be able to relate to the general public. You're ultimately hoping a lot of these people will be your customers someday! This whole experience working online can be a lot of fun, but there are definitely going to be some very frustrating days. There may even be some frustrating weeks. Keep going, keep working, keep learning, and stay in the game! There are no people who succeed in making money online if they give up within the first couple of months! The longer you stick with it, the more chance you have to improve your skills, and eventually you'll get where you want to be. Keep your perspective, and if you need a break, take one. Sometimes, when you're taking a break, you do your best thinking and get some of your best ideas.

Hopefully I've provided you with some basic information for getting started making money online. It really is a learning experience, but at least you can do it from the comfort of your own home! Lots of moms and stay at home caregivers have options for generating online incomes that weren't there even a few years ago. This market is open to anyone and everyone. Take it step by step, don't jump in head first, and learn, learn, learn! Here's to your success!

Avoid Profit Loss By Ensuring Your Affiliates' Success!

One of the most frequently asked questions from people who have affiliate programs in this day and age is, “How do I keep from losing profits with my affiliate program?”

Losing some profits is a given aspect of our time, but there is a way to cut back on the loss.

As the economy continues to slump, website owners, including affiliates, lose interest because monies are tight.  We must remember most new affiliates have no “get up and go” knowledge that helps them gain confidence and assurance about marketing and sales.

You would be surprised to know that in some programs, there is no mentoring or “coaching” involved.  The green affiliate is sent out on their own like Christopher Columbus to discover the world.

Not equipping and motivating affiliates effectively are the main reasons they fail to bring in substantial profits!  When it costs the affiliate for information or time, the bottom line is that it cost both of us our success at making profits.

Any CEO whose company is making substantial profits will tell you it takes work to keep their crew motivated.  The Internet marketing circle is no different.  If we want to make the most profits from our Internet marketing business we need to create a healthy, responsive crew.   This means we need to keep the affiliate’s needs utmost in mind.  If we tend to their needs, they can be more effective and we can make more profits.

There are many aspects to maintaining a healthy and responsive crew.  Here are some tips that can and will highly motivate your affiliates so both of you can profit.  They have been proven time and time again by the many marketers that run successful affiliate programs.

1) Make it worth their while!  The first thing I do when I want to start an Affiliate program is come up with an irrefutable deal; one they can’t refuse.  If you truly want to captivate someone’s attention, you have to make it worth their while to look at you   and your product.  You are “selling” them the idea of working to make profits for both parties.

2)  Equip them!  Try Giving them free information they can actually apply to their Affiliate business.  Give them information about how to make great articles, good sales letters, or how to boost traffic.

Tell them they need their own website.  I have a great tool to make mini-sites displayed on my site.  I say mini-sites because they are easy and go up quickly.  This way the affiliate won’t lose a lot of time and waste energy getting frustrated.  Once they are motivated they need to get up and running quickly before they lose interest.

Show them how to use the inevitable autoresponder, prepare and post messages, e-courses, and reports.  You can sell your e-books to them.  I am talking about giving them various ways they can gain information so they can be successful.

Another one that drove me nuts was how to build a subscribers list of potential repeat  costumers and actual keep them coming back!   Articles you write having great content helps too.  They can use them to gain a competitive edge over everyone else.

You will be surprised at the results you get!  Experience has taught me when affiliates gain more information, they feel confident and assured about what they are doing.  As this happens, they keep focused because he or she is getting results.  If they get results, you get results!

3) Show them You care about their success!  Nothing motivates affiliates more than having someone care enough to see them succeed other than primary results!  You can do this by staying in contact with them.  Show interest in them!  Encourage them!

4) Teach them about ethical marketing!  They can keep their credibility and remain in business.  Remember, if they are successful, you are successful!

Take pride in your affiliates because they are a reflection of you and your business.

Please remember these tips are suggestive only.  If you want to continue losing profits, by all means, disregard them and continue making less money.  But if you seriously want to succeed at making the most out of your affiliate business, try the suggestions.  What do you have to lose?

My hope is that all marketers are successful in making tons of profits.

Are You Using This Internet Marketing Secret?

If you are trying to sell a product or service on the Internet, then you are probably doing so through an affiliate program. You signed up as an affiliate (usually for free) and they gave you an affiliate ID (user name or number). They may have even given you a basic marketing package which includes text ads, banner ads, and solo ads with a link to your affiliate sales page. All you have to do is use these tools to get traffic to your affiliate sales page.

Well that sounds pretty easy, doesn't it? This process actually works too, except that your probability of converting your traffic into sales is very, very, very low.In other words, you may have to have thousands of people to visit your affiliate sales page before you ever see your first sell. Now those aren't very good odds, are they?

Unfortunately, that is what most people do. They spend a lot of time, effort, and money getting all of those people to that affiliate sales page and then they finally make a sale and earn a referral fee or commission. But wait, it can get even worse. Let's say that you made one sale and earned a $10 commission.

That's great, right? Well not really, because in the terms and conditions of your affiliate program, you don't actually get paid until you have accumulated at least $20 of commissions. So get back to it and get another sale and finally get paid. Good grief!

Don't quit! Internet marketing is a great way to make extra money, but you have to know some of the secrets. Here's one. "Don't advertise your affiliate program directly." You must use a four step process instead.

Four Step Process

1. First, you must provide something of value. The easiest valuable thing that you can give away is information. An informative email course, special report, or ebook are all great ways to give away free information.

2. This step goes along with the initial step above. Don't give away your free information until you get an email address. You must capture the name and email address of your prospective sale in order to be able to implement the next step.

3. If the information that you are providing is good and helps people, then you will earn some trust. If someone gives you some information that saves you time, money, or effort; then you are going to closely read anything that they send you - as long as the information is still valuable. This is why it is so important that you get that name and email address before you start giving away your information. Now you can keep the information flowing through an occasional email to your prospect.

4. Finally, if you have been providing valuable information and earning trust from people, it is much more likely that they will buy something that you recommend. This is especially true if you can convince them that what you are recommending will help them and that it is worth their money.

The easiest way to do this is to recommend something that you have actually purchased and use yourself. Just tell them how it helped you and why you think that it was worth what you paid for it!

Are affiliate programs good business opportunities?

Affiliate programs are great business opportunities, as well as a great business idea. Here’s the scoop. You join an affiliate company and they give you a unique URL called an, "Affiliate Link," that only you have. When people click on your affiliate link it not only takes them to your affiliate website but it also alerts the affiliate company that you directed this person to their website. Now if that person makes a purchase you will be paid a commission as a reward for generating business for that company. Commissions can be as high as 75%! Dose that sound exciting to you? If so read on!

How can you find an affiliate program? There are literally 1000's of websites eager for new affiliates. One way is to do a search for, "affiliate programs" using a search engine such as Google. Another way is to join ClickBank. ClickBank works with 100's of affiliate companies. After you join ClickBank, You then choose from a list affiliates ClickBank is affiliated with. You then promote an affiliate link that is a combination of ClickBank’s and whatever affiliate site you are promoting. ClickBank then pays you instead of the company you are an affiliate for. You can also find a link usually labeled, "affiliates" on websites that have affiliate programs. You will usually find this link at the very bottom of the homepage in very small text size.

Depending on which Affiliate program you join they will pay you weekly, biweekly, monthly or bimonthly but most often biweekly or monthly. They will usually give you the option of how you will get paid via company check or Electronic Bank Transfer. I prefer Electronic Bank Transfer because payment is immediate and you don’t have to worry about your check getting lost or stolen.

The greatest thing about running an affiliate business in my opinion is this. When you run a business, any business whether it is internet based or not, you must deal with a host of things including, but not limited to, inventory, storage, packing, shipping, complaints, returns, phone calls, emails, checks and credit cards just to name a few. When you’re an affiliate, "they" take care of all of that for you! Your only job is to advertise for them. Once you have directed someone to your affiliate website via your affiliate link your job is done. They will take over from there. What could be a sweeter deal?!

Advertising your affiliate link can be accomplished in a number of different ways. Google AdWords is one way. Article submission is another way. There are 1000's of Article submission sites where you can submit your articles to for free. As an example you can check out, IdeaMarketers. Click on the link at the upper right part of their homepage entitled, "Learn How This Site Works." There are a number of ways you can find other article submission sites far too numerous to approach here, so I will only say that one way is to do a search using any search engine and typing in, "Article Submission Sites." Another way to allow your affiliate link to be made known to the world is through discussion forums. One of the best out there is the AssociatePrograms.com forum. Discussion forums allow you to attach a signature file to the bottom of all your posts, where you may include your affiliate link.

All right. We’ve discussed all of the exciting aspects to joining an affiliate program like receiving commissions as high as 75%, not having to deal with inventory, storage, packing, shipping, complaints, returns, phone calls, emails, checks or credit cards etc., getting paid most often biweekly or monthly and usually having your choice of payment via check or Electronic Bank Transfer. We also discussed, how to advertise your affiliate link using little or no money. Now it is up you. Dose having an affiliate business sound good to you? If so find, join, and promote your affiliate business and/or businesses using the techniques discussed here. And remember, affiliate programs are fabulous business opportunities as well as a great business idea!

An Affiliate Marketing Glossary

Affiliate Marketing is a concept with it's own terms. To get started, you'll have to know what the middlemen and affiliate program pitches mean when they use them, otherwise it will strike you as a bunch of gibberish. For those of you with some experience already in this matter, these terms are for the beginners.

Ad Copy: A written sales pitch, also known simply as 'copy'. Most follow the AIDA form (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and examples can be seen on any site that's selling something.

Affiliate Link: This is how the company knows who to pay. These are the hypertext links given to you by the affiliate program that differentiates you from generic traffic at large. Unless you send someone through an affiliate link, you don't get paid.

Affiliate Program: An agreement with a given company that has this sort of program to advertise and promote their products in exchange for payment, usually as a commission per sale. You do this at your own expense, although the programs themselves are free to join. I have heard of those that require payment to join, but I strongly recommend against them, as there are plenty of good programs you can join for free.

Commission: This is how you get paid by all affiliate marketing programs. It's not a salary or a fee, and taxes are not deducted and thus your problem to track. Commissions are usually expressed in percent, although some are given in dollars per sale.

Conversion: The percentage of people you send to an affiliate site that buy. 1% is the industry average. Getting conversions is the name of the game in affiliate marketing.

Creative: The collective reference given by some programs to the sum total of all their advertising stuff, like ad gif's, testimonials, product photos, and copy text.

Pay Per Click: You get paid anytime someone clicks on a link from your site. The biggest example of a program that does this is Google AdSense, which gives you Pay Per Click ads to put your site and pays you every time someone clicks on it. Miva ARX and Yahoo! also have ad programs that work this way.

Pay Per Lead: This one is not common but very handy. When you send someone to a site and they sign up for a free trial, e-mail list or sales call, it's called a lead. Some companies pay you to give them leads, which is good for you, because you are getting paid to give a potential customer something for free.

Pay Per Sale: The most common ways to get paid in affiliate programs. When you send someone to a site and they buy a product, eBook, download, or membership, you get paid a percentage of the gross on it.

Super Affiliate: An affiliate marketer in the top 5% of all affilate marketers. These are the ones that make 80% of all the commissions in affiliate marketing and the aspiration of all affiliate marketers looking to get rich doing this.

Two-Tier Program: An affiliate program that pays you for your sales and those of anyone you recruit. For all intents and purposes, if you recruit and train your second tier, they will make you money.

Some programs are also multi-tier, which means you get paid on downline several tiers beneath you or more.

These will get you started with your affiliate marketing understanding.

Affiliates Should Read About His Niche Products

At the moment an entrepreneur decides to join the affiliate marketing business, he searches in an affiliate marketing directory and he is immediately presented with a very wide range of products and services, and with various affiliate programs. The affiliate marketing business is indeed a flourishing business as indicated by the numerous online merchants who are offering affiliate programs.

With so many options before him, an entrepreneur may opt to step back and research more about which products he should promote, which affiliate program he should sign-up, and which merchant he should affiliate with. He is buying himself time and he wanted to be more prepared before actually setting up his affiliate marketing business.

On the other hand, an entrepreneur will be so excited that he will sign-up with the first affiliate program that he finds interesting. There is nothing wrong with such eagerness and such action. The only thing that the new affiliate has to deal with is his lack of knowledge about the products he has chosen to promote. Should the affiliate step back and start all over again?

If the new affiliate will retrace his steps, he will only be putting off the day when he will be enjoying financial success. Therefore, he must forge ahead and continue with his chosen affiliate program and deal on his lack of knowledge along the way. Besides, dealing with such a lack of knowledge is not as difficult as obtaining a doctor’s degree. The new affiliate simply needs to read.

When the new affiliate has decided to read up on his products, he should first pose questions that he wanted to know about the products. These questions will be his guide in choosing his reading materials. For example, if the products are ceramic items, maybe he wanted to know first how the ceramic industry came about. Then he must know how ceramic items are created. And he must also know what makes ceramics different from all other craft items.

The answers to these questions will provide good content for the new affiliate’s website. The information that the affiliate has collected, in order to answer his questions will be the focus of the articles that will be posted in the website. The beauty of such informative articles is that they contain the facts that the target clients would like to know. Because, when the affiliate asked questions, he was placing himself in the shoes of his target clients.

Another perk to reading about the products is the acquired ability of the affiliate to authoritatively and immediately answer the questions that the visitors will post in the website. When the target client is satisfied with the quickness and completeness of the answers, he will most likely patronize and purchase the products that are recommended by the affiliate.

Affiliates Should Offer Something Extra (FREE)

For one type of product, there are literally hundreds (or even thousands) of affiliates that are actively promoting it. Affiliate marketing, after all, is a competitive business. But the result of having too many affiliates can present a challenging problem to each affiliate. One problematic result is that one customer may have already heard of the product being promoted by one affiliate. And this customer may have already encountered the promotional material for the product.

With so many affiliates offering the same product, how can one affiliate stand out from the rest so that the customer will choose him and not the other affiliates? What makes one affiliate different and better from the other affiliates? This is the present challenge of many affiliates, especially the new ones.

One creative solution suggested by many affiliate marketing experts is the use of extra specials. An extra special is something valuable that is given to a customer if this customer purchases the product from the merchant through the affiliate’s website. The affiliate must also mention that such extra special cannot be obtained from other websites. This will warn the visitor that if he purchases the product from another link, he will not have that extra special. And if that extra special is also needed by the visitor, he will most likely stay in the affiliate’s website and discontinue his browsing.

Now that the affiliate has decided to provide the extra special, the next question in mind is what extra special will be attractive to the customer. The answer to this will depend on the type of customer that happens to purchase the product. And the type of product will give a big clue on the personality of the customers.

For example, if the affiliate’s website is all about rock climbing and other extreme sports, offering information about how tattoos are placed will not appeal to the majority of rock climbers, even when some of them may be wearing tattoos already.

On the other hand, if the affiliate will be offering information on various rock climbing places found in the country, the rock climber will definitely be interested and he may have no doubts at all in clicking that link that will take him to the merchant’s website.

Other extra specials can be a free email or phone consultation, an e-book, or links and ads in the newsletter. What the affiliate has to remember is that the extra special should be relevant to the main product being sold.
